The UNFPA ASRO together with the MENA HPF conducted a workshop on the the electronic system of the monitoring and evaluation framework for SRH integration in PHC. The workshop included representatives from 4 different Arab countries; Palestine, Jordan, Oman and Morocco. The main purpose of this workshop is to build capacities on the utilization of the newly developed electronic tool that monitor and evaluate the provision of SRH integration in the PHC in each of the 4 selected countries. Dr.Maha El Rabbat, the executive director of the MENA HPF discussed the importance of SRH integration in achieving the universal health coverage. She highlighted the importance of this tool in acting as an advocacy tool for decision makers to identify the gaps and challenges for achievement of SRH integration in PHC. Dr.El Rabbat added that the MENA HPF together with the UNFPA ASRO will continue to provide all the technical support needed to the countries in the region.
