“Universal Access to Quality Healthcare in the Arab Countries” Conference in Cairo,Egypt (12-13 November 2016)
The Middle East and North Africa Health Policy Forum (MENA HPF) is organizing its conference: “Universal Access to Quality Healthcare in the Arab Countries”. The Conference will take place on November12-13, 2016 at the Cairo Marriott Hotel, Cairo, Egypt.
The conference is held in collaboration with Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development with the objective of providing decision makers with policy options to expand access to quality and efficient essential health services as a goal for the achievement of the goal of universal health coverage (UHC) as delineated in the Sustainable Development Goals 2030. This will allow the generation of key options for UHC to respond to the growing demand from Arab Countries to assist in the implementation of related policies to satisfy SDGs.
The conference will convene participants from the MENA region, representing health sector multi stakeholders from state and non-state sectors including: decision makers, academia, economists, healthcare workers, international organizations, NGOs and investors working in the health sector to ensure full representation.
